Take PADI Courses online through eLearning!

What are the benefits of the PADI eLearning online courses?
PADI online courses continue to gain popularity because consumers now have the ability to complete the courses at their own pace and anywhere they would like.

What online courses are available?
The PADI Open Water Diver Course is available in 7 languages (English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Japanese and Dutch); the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course, PADI Enriched Air Diver Course, and Instructor Development Course are currently only available in English.  The newest eLearning course is Digital Underwater Photography!  Check back for more online courses coming soon.

What do these courses cover?
The PADI Open Water Diver Course is, by far, the world's most popular scuba certification course. Millions of people have started diving as certified PADI Open Water Divers.  Learning to scuba dive requires both knowledge development (facts, principles, concepts) and motor procedures (skills, techniques, methods).  The PADI Open Water Diver Course online provides the knowledge development portion you need.  You develop the remaining skills by actually diving with a PADI Instructor at Ocean First Divers.

The online version of the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course will include knowledge development for the two required topics - the Deep and Underwater Navigation Dives - along with five of the most popular elective dives.  These include Night Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Wreck Diver, Boat Diver and Underwater Naturalist.  As with the PADI Open Water Diver course, the entire PADI Adventures in Diving manual will be available online to divers enrolled in the course.  Experience real adventure and be one step closer to Master Scuba Diver - the ultimate non-professional certification in recreational diving.  You must be a PADI Open Water Diver before participating in any inwater training.

The PADI Enriched Air Diver Course online includes all the knowledge development requirements for the course.  You'll also have unlimited access to the PADI Enriched Air Diver manual online for reference after you have completed the course.

The PADI Digital Underwater Photographer course gets you going quickly with today modern digital equipment, whether you use a point-and-shoot snap camera or a sophisticated D-SLR like the pros.

Ready to Go Pro?  Parts of the new PADI Instructor Development Course are now available through eLearning.  By completing the eLearning portion, you'll spend less time in the classroom during your IDC and more time getting hands-on training.  You'll be on your way to Open Water Scuba Instructor in no time!

What do these online courses cost?
The PADI Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver courses both cost $120 US and the Enriched Air Diver course costs $195 US.  The PADI Digital Underwater Photography Course is $120 US.  The eLearning portion of the Instructor Development Course costs $320 US.  ADDITIONAL costs and required gear vary depending on the course.  All eLearing costs DO NOT include your open water dives (if applicable)  to finish your certification.  Click the links for more specific information.
