KENT DENVER OFFERINGS

We at Ocean First Divers are proud to be able to support the students of Kent Denver in their education by assisting them in completing SSI Open Water certifications. As part of their science curriculum, the students at Kent Denver conduct classroom and online training sessions, learning about the physics of diving, the associated equipment, and the complexity of the marine environment.

As part of their course, the students interact with the local non-profit Teens4Oceans, and build upon their diving experience and classroom education to create projects and conduct field experiments with a marine emphasis. In their training at Ocean First Divers, the students develop the skills and dive experience necessary to safely work in field laboratory settings, moving beyond the limitations of snorkeling and wading into a complex and dynamic three-dimensional ocean environment.
