PADI Enriched Air Diver through eLearning
Nitrox is one of the most often discussed and written about subjects in diving today. The air we breathe today is a mixture of 21% oxygen and 79% nitrogen. But ENRICHED air (Nitrox) has a greater percentage of oxygen and less nitrogen. In this course you'll learn about the benefits of diving "Nitrox". This certification and all the benefits of Enriched air diving have been made even easier. No open water dives are required. So after completing the online portions and some hands on training you too can be a Nitrox diver!
What does it cover?
The PADI Enriched Air Diver course online includes all the knowledge development requirements for the course. You'll also have unlimited access to the PADI Enriched Air Diver manual online for reference after you have completed the course.
How does it work?
After enrolling, PADI's eLearning system presents you with interactive presentations that include videos, audio, graphics, and reading. Short quizzes let you gauge your progress and review and correct anything you might happen to miss. This lets you move through the program efficiently and at your own pace.
What else is required to complete the course?
Prior to certification as a PADI Enriched Air Diver, you must complete a Practical Application session and EITHER two enriched air training dives or predive simulations, with a PADI Enriched Air Specialty Instructor. Please note that the minimum age to become Enriched Air Diver certified is 15 years old.
What does it cost?
The PADI Enriched Air Diver course online is $195 US nonrefundable. The fee covers the knowledge development training, unlimited access to the PADI Enriched Air Diver Manual online, and a practical application session with Ocean First Divers after completing the online portion. NOT included is the PIC card form to get your permanent certification card ($28.50 + tax). PADI eLearning access passes also make great gifts!
How long do you have to complete the eLearning course?
The eLearning course will be available for one year from the time of course registration.
When can I do my practical application session after I complete the online part?
