Have you ever been curious about diving in double tank configuration? This is a short evening course designed to introduce a certified diver to the use of a double tank configuration in diving. It also introduces the diver to the general UTD equipment configuration. Some rudimentary practice of air sharing skills is included. The class starts with a brief lecture on the key points of diving in doubles, then progresses to a quick walk through of the equipment configuration and then finally a pool dive where the diver can practice buoyancy, trim and other skills as desired.
This is not a certification course but it is a prerequisite to using doubles in the Recreational Helitrox course. It is also a great way to get a feel for diving in doubles prior to taking Intro to tec.
Cost: $35
Mask and fins are required for the class.
