We will be diving the Spiegel Grove, Benwood, Bibb, and Duane wrecks over the course of 3 diving days. Key Largo's "Shipwreck Alley" is famous for these awesome wrecks and this is a great opportunity to check them off your diving wish list!

The Diving

The shipwrecks off Key Largo provide some of the best dive sites for divers of all skill levels. The Heavy Metal Tour hits 4 of these awesome wrecks! Explore the depths of the Duane, where resident bull sharks patrol the perimeter. This Coast Guard cutter sits at approximately 130' and is one of the most exciting dives on the tour. The Duane's sister ship, the Bibb, sits on her starboard side at about the same depth as the Duane. The upper portion of the Bibb is accessed at about 90'. The Spiegel Grove is one of the most popular dives in Key Largo. This 510' long ship initially rested on her starboard side until Hurricane Dennis came through the Keys in 2005 and righted the wreck. The cranes and welldeck are impressive sights, especially when the current is running, attracting prolific schools of fish! The Benwood is a classic shipwreck, dating back to World War II. Huge schools of snapper, grunts, and goatfish call the Benwood home, making it a beautiful shallow dive to finish the day!

The Holiday Inn Key Largo provides comfortable, conveniently located accommodations. Each room has two queen sized beds, hair dryer, refrigerator, and desk area. The Sea Dweller dive boat is located in the marina right next to the hotel. Breakfast is served at Bogie's Restaurant and pool towels are located at the front counter.

Changes, cancellations, and refunds

A minimum of $100 per person will be charged for cancellation once deposit has been made.

If you make changes to the reservation it may result in additional fee. Cancellation 180 days or more prior to departure a refund will be given based on reselling your space less any penalties by the vendors. Cancellation 179 days or less prior to departure, the original deposit will be forfeited as well as any penalties from the vendors. Cancellation 119 days or less prior to departure, or if you are a no-show, no refunds will be given.

A passport is required for travel to destinations outside of the U.S.
